ACCIDENT INSURANCE
The Chartis Insurance Company of Canada Carrier Accident Insurance Program provides 24 hours a day,
7 days a week coverage on a world-wide basis. The coverage for a carrier commences the day he/she assumes the duties of a carrier and ends the day the Insured person ceases
to be a carrier of the policyholder or, if he/she terminates their coverage. Substitute carriers are covered while on the route and coverage is for Accidental Death &
Dismemberment (Part I).
Coverage is extended to cover any person who is being trained by a retiring carrier to take over a route. Such coverage will last for
a maximum of seven days and the trainee is covered only while on the route. Benefits are tax free to the carrier. Premiums are paid by the carrier. Carriers may purchase
coverage on more than one route if he/she delivers several routes. A premium must be charged per route. Coverage on additional routes extends only to the
Weekly Indemnity benefit.

- Vision
- Life Insurance
- Weekly Accident Indemnity
